The problem, though, is that is not really what happened. This is in my town, and what was reported by the police, because they were brought in, was that the student was a repeat offender of not following the rules. She was in the office for another offense. The principal removed her for that. The "phone call" when investigated by the School District did not happen (no record in either the school's phone or the parents). The parent has since dropped any allegations against the school regarding them expelling her child because of not standing for the pledge. This all happened after the WP wrote the story, though...

They taped the principle saying that was the rwason. That.make all the rest irrelvent. Recorded confessions are great evidence.
