It's going to be built, but at what cost? Robbing Peter to pay Paul on some projects. And whatever happened to "Mexico is going to pay for it"?

Well he did win in that he got far more money in the border funding package than either his administration or the border patrol asked for. So in that respect it was a win. He can fix the wall issue later in his second term. Yes more folks will cross the border between then and now but their numbers over the next two years will not be significant. Time for him to move onto other issues for his remaining first term in office.

Cynthia C. - Also, silver lining is my favorite project........Amtrak got funded to $1.9 Billion as part of this deal. They desperately need the windfall to start buying replacement locomotives and passenger cars, many of which are wearing out now.
