The main religions of 90% of the Kurds in the Syria/Turkey Region are Zoroastrianism, Yarsanism, Yazidism and Alevism, not Christianity or Islamic which are around 3% each. Taoism, Judaism and Buddhism make up another 3%. The last 1% are erotic religions on less than a 1000 family groups.
When you look at the differences of the main four - think of the Baptist, Anabaptist's, Lutherans, and Presbyterians faiths. Different but still categorized collectively as Christians.
