That was the result of the MBV Program created by MHC, Military Healing Center.
According to the USMC field manual on Combat Stress there are three primary dial down strategies personnel must have to stay level and effective - Meditations, Breathing Techniques and Visualizations. MBV. When Marines were asked if they were being trained in these three skills, they said no. MHC created the training to fill that gap, the gap between expectations and the training realities.
Tested in the field during a joint Can/US study with 112 personnel, the MBV Program ticks boxes in the following criteria; cost effective for personnel (27.00 USD), downloads to personal listening device, takes less than an hour from start to stop, ships instantly for deployed personnel – no long wait times, all training is contained in the program, it’s yours for life to use over and over. I believe that this is a great start. But what can we do to negate the "old school thought" that you need to tough it out and suck it up? We hear it every day.

Dear Major,
Avoid those who think that way and do your own work. Tell them to 'speak to the hand' and continue on using the resources and practices that feed you, improve you, empower you, heal you, strengthen you. Build your own confidence and competence. That builds critical mass.
