Where did the map come from? Got to watch for credibility and sourcing on open source. I notice this was probably not produced by an American or native English speaker. So, not sure of the credibility. But, as a former Counterintelligence guy, we are supposed to be suspicious.

The publisher is annotated on the map itself, at the top. Not speaking English fluently isn't an acceptable criteria for determining credibility, but feel free to check out his work for yourself: https://twitter.com/arabthomness ; anyone following the situation in Syria closely will likely have heard of this talented kid.

Corbin, Language is an INDICATION of credibility. Strongly agree with you that it does not disqualify information. It is ONE indication. But, it can also be an indication of active measures, PYOPS, or propaganda. I do not know the person.
I see you are in the private sector intelligence business. Who are your customers? How does it work? Is it a profitable business for you. I was in the Gov from 1975 to 2014. So, I am do not have a lot of knowledge about the private intell business. I am interested in how your business works. Good luck!
