RIP Coach Madden. Watched him as a coach and rooted for the Raiders (and still do), enjoyed his great comments as an analyst and also enjoyed listening to him on KCBS during my morning commute. One of a kind and will be missed.

MSgt Robert "Rock" Aldi I met him many times. Back during his first year as the Raiders head coach my soon to be father in law was a trainer for the team. Knew Daryle Lamonica better, he even came to our wedding, but you couldn't be around the team without meeting Coach John, things were a lot different with coaches in those days.

John Madden NFL Legend as a coach & as an announcer. Top voice in the sporting world is finally silent. RIP John Madden, we all liked you! And I'm even a Chiefs fan saying that. Don't like the Raiders, but can't hate on Big John. Always seemed like a decent guy & never heard anything bad about him. He's probably got a big ol turkey leg up in heaven.
