It really is heartbreaking reading these comments. A man willing to risk his life to climb the wall, what was so bad on the other side? Heartless you people are. No sympathy. To think Americans could just turn and make jokes. Sad!

I have no problems helping someone who comes to me and asks for help. I will happily shoot any fool who breaks into my home with the intent to rob me. There is no difference between either of these two situations.

There are 22 consulates in Mexico, ALL of them will take asylum applicants. Play the hurt person all you like - criminals deserve no pity when their own actions put them at risk.

We are terrible, get the word out to the millions trying to come, by hook or crook. I haven’t heard of any injuries by those that come here legally. Many through these points of entry.
