$1,000 Gun Tax Pushed as “Role Model” for States

I have felt that this will be a way for left-wing politicians to enact gun control without "really" doing it. If they make it too prohibitive for most citizens to own, they get what they want while being able to claim they are not denying Constitutional rights, just making people pay for them. They will justify this by saying the money will go towards care for victims of gun violence in order to justify it. Of course, all they really want to limit our rights. I would think this would get thrown out in court but these days, I cannot even be sure of that.
