1,000th Pilot Solos U-2 ‘Dragon Lady’ Spy Plane

Learned two things today. First I did not know that the Air Force was still using the U-2. I thought the only ones left were a couple that NASA was using for testing and research. Second I had no idea how few pilots have actually flown the aircraft. I just assumed that during the cold war that there had to be hundreds of planes with a couple thousand pilots at least.
