You Do Realize that the U.S. Funded and Trained ISIS, Right?
Creating one’s own enemies then declaring war on them while putting the rest of the world in grave danger...

The True Story of Charlie Wilson's War (2007)
From Wikipedia (Charlie Wilson, U.S. Congressman): "Wilson is best known for leading Congress into supporting Operation Cyclone, the largest-ever Central Int...
Charlie Wilson is a real man. Yes, Hollywood may stretch the truth a little but he was one of those who helped Osama and his bunch from the very beginning.

That is bizarre news SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. I would not be surprised to learn that this "survey" was commissioned on behalf of ISIS and al Nusra who developed very biased question fro the survey.

COL Ted Mc - I skimmed through that report and noticed the survey questions and survey methodology were not addressed. This seemed to be a sanitized "sensitive but unclassified" summary.

LTC Stephen F. - Colonel; But you were "surprised" to learn that the survey was conducted by the US government (because you assumed that only ISIS and/or al Nusra would have developed a survey with questions so biased that it would result in such opinions being expressed) - right?

COL Ted Mc - I was hoping to find out the survey methodology when I scanned through it. As an ORSA I understand how good survey are conducted.
As a student of history I understand how a foreign power which is seen as occupying meets over and tacit resistance for the population. The idea that sufficient randomly selected Iraqis which represent the varied viewpoints in Iraq would respond to such a survey. LTC (Join to see) SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL

LTC Stephen F. - Colonel; The options are three-fold:
[1] the US government went to great lengths to ensure that the survey was an accurate reflection of Iraqi public opinion in order to do its job better;
[2] the US government deliberates ran a survey which made the US government look bad;
and
[3] the US government simply didn't care what the results of the survey were or if they were accurate but released them even though they made the US government look bad.
Occam's Razor time.

Anyone know if this Ayatollah, I mean clown, is still against the US forces on the ground?

Thousands of Shiite fighters who marched in Iraq this weekend sent a signal: feared firebrand cleric Muqtada al-Sadr and his Mahdi Army are back.

LTC (Join to see) - Major; Mr. al-Sadr is NOT an "Ayatollah". However Mr. al-Sadr is still Ayatollah al-Sistani's sock puppet.
Mr. al-Sadr is in favor of whatever Ayatollah al-Sistani is in favor of (on any given day) and against whatever Ayatollah al-Sistani is against (on any given day).
Since Ayatollah al-Sistani is heavily in favor of Iran then Mr. al-Sadr is a first order derivative of Ayatollah al-Sistani and a second order derivative of Iran.
None of which, of course, actually answers your question directly.

Puppets of Iran. He, I am sure, can't admit our occupation was more humane than ISIL/Daesh. I read he had gone to Iran to get further professional development as being an Ayatollah which is the same as being a Beyatch to Shiism and Iran,
