Strange. It seems like there would have been a much higher percentge of sociopaths back under that system. Consider the going out and killing slaves for no apparent reason would constitute that. Plus the average lifespand was about 35 so very little time for serial killing in retirement. A clinical psychologist would be mortified to speak with one of the instutional raised sociopaths.

I agree I believe a lot of what is said about the Spartan lifestyle is grossly exagerated.
