Pilots using medically supplied amphetamines for extended missions is different from meth and coke. If they were using on a mission that's bad and questionably good. Bad for safety concerns, and also that they are not medically supplied. Questionably good from the aspect of heightened awareness and artificial stamina. Using recreationally while in the rear can't be justified, no matter how you spin it. Sad to hear this from such a proud unit. It sure would be a waste of training time/money to separate them, but other units do it routinely. I'd hate to be the guy on Sec. Mattis's carpet for it.
