Glad they corrected this before we had our combat troops remove ribbons that might make someone feel bad. Before you come on this base please remove your "Purple Heart", "Silver Star", "Bronze Star" and for god's sake never wear the "C.M.H."...we only allow everyone to wear their basic training ribbon. WELCOME TO UTOPIA

Isn’t this topic totally ridiculous? Snowflakes who are “offended” by someone’s patch have absolutely no place in the military. I cannot believe we’re even talking about this, and I am just an Army mom, daughter and sister! I would fight for the men in my family to wear the patches they earned. In fact, I would fight harder than them, because they are so very humble. It’s not about the patches for them, but the mission. But knowing this only makes me want to fight harder.

What? You want the others to feel bad or guilty that they don't have one? How unPC of you.

It’s this PC stuff that could ruin the military. There’s no place for this nonsense in combat. Do people forget that this is what our military is all about? The fight, often to the death, to keep America safe. PC nonsense just muddies the waters, and those in combat - as well as all those links in the chain that support them and command them - must see things very clearly.
