.... Can the Strykers even keep the occupant inside warm?! also can it even start up after a freezing night? those are are two prime problem in Arctic with any kind of machine.

I was in LAV's for 5 years. Once that steel cooled to freezing, I think that would have sucked big time. Like driving a refrigerator. The heaters in LAV sucked.

Actually, there has been a Stryker brigade at Ft. Wainwright, AK since the early 00's. It's just a different brand of suck but not by much
