We moved next to an AFB (or Navy base or Army post) that's been there for 50+ years and now we think it's too loud. And we're suing!
Don't you just love these lawsuits? Let's do another Environmental Assessment, because the last one didn't give me the answer I wanted.
Can these folks get slapped every morning as a wake up until they realize they DECIDED to move there?

Suck it up buttercup!! That is one of the many sounds of freedom roaring over your head!! If you don't like the noise a base makes, don't move next to a base!!

I tried living somewhere away from the flight path. I couldn't sleep. One of my favorite sounds: jet engines! Music to my ears. Sun City up by Luke was notorious for this. People moved for the sunny dry weather, decided they wanted peace, grass and a place just like home. So they built roads, filled pools, and left the cold behind. Who made this possible? They don't want to hear it. What once was miles and miles of desert now looks like LA and the temperature and humidity have risen. And they are still flying!
