Ideally less Iraqis would die fighting, but an underlying point is that they actually fought, even though their comrades died next to them. This is an improvement from former skirmishes where a relatively small group of ISIS fighters put up a fight and the Iraqis fled.
Its great that there are some Iraqis left that are willing to fight, kill and die
