This is for all veterans, look at a state to see if there is free education you and for the kids if you are disabled, if they make you pay income tax on what and what thresholds. Also see if you qualify for SSDI.

Re: Item 3. enrolling in VA Health care will exempt you from having to enroll in obamacare. This will not apply to your spouse and children unless you are awarded a 100% permanent and total disability.
