Being a Marine, I am surprised that she didn't do the job herself.

Feel particularly bad for the child who will now lose his mother for many years to come. The woman could have had just about everything she wanted to begin with out of the deal if she had left it alone and gotten by on her earlier rep and present business success. Now she will end up in jail with another child who will also be at the center of another contentious custody battle. Lose-lose situation.

Capt Tom Brown - Absolutely on point: The child is the true victim here.

I feel bad for that poor child as well...And obviously she has a history of poor choices when it comes to her son...I mean look at the character of her present boyfriend: He was kicked out of the Corps for some really heinous acts while serving in Afghanistan. However, I must admit, in the new boyfriend's, defense, he did gain several points in the character category by reporting her "hit for hire" request to the proper authorities...

I drove my oldest child to Minneapolis to see her dad and we were in Southern Illinois. I don't particularly like him but he isn't worth me trying to kill him or have someone else do it. She screwed up big time in society and most importantly by her kids.
