This seems very strange and may well be a deception plan CPT (Join to see). While it would be great if ISIL Minister of War (Defense Minister), Omar al-Shishani has been taken out of the picture, if he has I expect he has been replaced already.

LTC Stephen F. This is why I didn't comment on it when it was first reported that he was killed in an airstrike on Shaddadi. When this was widely reported there were also reports of his being moved to Raqqa for medical care. I'm sure he has been replaced and each and everyone of their leaders who is killed will be replaced until they either have no more resources or have no more members.

LTC Stephen F. Did you see this evening's news where the U.S. is confirming his death?

CPT (Join to see) - I didn't see it last night but I saw the following from CNN. To be honest I was waiting for DoD News to release the information.
One thing that bothers me about the CNN picture is the face of the man to his left is covered over. Why in the world would CNN try to hide an ISIS thugs face?

Good news if it's true. I'm not sure it will have a significant impact in the grand scheme of things, but it's still one less ISIS leader out there.
