18 years to restore one that made it back only to have it re-enact the demise of so many. Yes, it's likely it'll fly again (if they can find someone willing to pay the salvage and restoration), but it's a sad moment to relive

For sure, that salt water, and the effects from it, needs to be completely removed, not cheap!

Pretty textbook emergency water landing. Planes can be replaced, pilots and bystanders can't. Great job.
