To be honest I think it is somewhat humorous for the people of Mexico City to be burning effigies of POTUS Obama and POTUS wannabe Donald Trump CPT (Join to see).
I expect they are playing to the cameras like the people of Iran, Palestinian territories and so many other benighted groups of people. I wonder how much they were paid to perform.
What makes me sad is that this effigy burning took place on Easter.
Tens of thousands of Mexican men, women and children have been murdered in the drug wars of Mexico in the past decade and many more have disappeared.
I concur with responses of CSM Charles Hayden LTC (Join to see) SGM David W. Carr LOM, DMSM MP SGT PO2 Ed C. SSgt (Join to see) CPT Jack Durish

LTC Stephen F. They do this every year as a part of the celebration of Holy week. The tradition of burning effigies of those they dislike comes from the Christian tradition of burning effigies of Judas.

And just why would anyone from Mexico want to leave with all the fun they are having at home?!?

They have community organizers in Mexico. Note, the 'teacher's unions' were exempted!

in Mexico, if you become a naturalized citizen, you can't even be a city council member but someone like General Shalikashvili or Secretary of State Henry Kissinger did well and they were not born here. Mexico has strange rules and they are a proud people but they like to blame others for not doing enough. We are responsible for the drug demand but not for how they are coping with it.
