I can agree for not voiting for a bill, but when your only reason is the bible... He should have come up with a lot better answer than that.

Every party has a pooper... For every idiot thing a Republican says, I can match it with a quote from a Democrat (and visa versa). Outliers don't represent either party, and I never pay attention to them. They are only quoted by either ideologues with an agenda or want to simply annoy other ideologues

I expected this story to be hyperbole, or just have a salacious headline.
