Eastman Leather Clothing - US Flight Jackets : Original Maker Jackets : A2 Escape

As an aviation nut(especially WWII) I'm constantly on the look out for well priced A2 flight jackets. While I haven't found one with a good balance of price and authenticity yet, I did find the extreme of the former with Eastman Leather Clothing.

These guys make perfect reproductions of the original WWI and WWII flight jackets, as well as a few other goodies, down to the finest details. I've been following them for a while, hoping I'll some day come into $1500 dollars and be able to buy one, and recently they came out with this. A perfect reproduction of Captain Hilts' (Steve McQueen's) jacket from The Great Escape, which happens to be my favorite movie.

Maybe if enough people buy one they'll put it up as a permanent item and I wont have to find one on eBay in 10 years when I can afford it.

Such a great find! Eastman Leather Clothing really nails the authenticity, those A2 flight jackets look like they’ve come straight out of a WWII hangar. The Captain Hilts reproduction is pure perfection for any vintage or aviation fan.
