I'm surprised passengers do not protect themselves by keeping their valuables to include their wallets, purses, iPads, cell phones in their carry on luggage instead of putting it in their checked luggage.

My career in credit card and bank fraud involved theft of credit cards by air line employees. We would place cameras in the luggage compartments of air planes and catch the employees not only stealing credit cards, but also going through luggage and taking things. Airlines won't admit that theft by their employees is out of control. Thanks for posting, CPT M Cannonie!
