I've grown used to Trump appointing department leads who either didn't believe in the mission of the organizations they were appointed to lead (Scott Pruitt and the EPA) or didn't understand the mission of the organizations they had been selected to lead (Rick Perry and the Department of Energy). I'm not sure what to think when Trump actually appoints a seemingly competent leader.
