The problem with all this: it is too bureaucratic, inflexible not and leaves the little room for the MH provider to truly relate to the individual.

Great information, and thank you for sharing. It is important to remember that the DBQs are used to prove the existing disability. It does not show the nexus that connects it to service. While these will be used by C & P examiners, you can have a private physician complete one for you to go with your claim packet. DBQs for PTSD and TBI need to be done by VA certified C & P examiners. Here is where you can access them all.
