Sometimes good Soldiers get separated by the QMP Board (e.g. a whistleblower that had retaliation make it to an evaluation, SSG and SFC not completed NCOES, and a few other types).

If you or someone you know is getting separated, certain waivers (albeit just a few) that can be considered (under honorable conditions). The National Guard is your best option with waivers for certain types of RE-4 code.

That is correct if you are qmp'd your research code does not allow for enlistment into any other branch or reserve

CSM, I separated after 15 years under compassionate circumstances and after joining the Reserves I can say I don't regret it one bit.
