Just reread, a lot of good points. I made my career in the Army but grew up in a LE family. My brother, a deputy sheriff, retired early three years ago because of all the anti LE sentiment.

I spent 20 years as a Military Policeman and I chuckle at the ridiculousness of some of the things I see on TV.

Good article and very true from what I know of police (I have worked with the kids of cops who have been killed in LOD)
