Today's Birthday Aviation history. Charles Edward Taylor (May 24, 1868 – January 30, 1956) was an American inventor, mechanic and machinist. As an AMT, Charles E Taylor really sets the standard for aviation innovation, and is the basis for The AMC every year

Thanks for sharing. Charles Taylor was quite the innovator. Many in the aviation world consider him the father of aviation mechanics, and believe the early development of aircraft could have gone a different direction entirely had he not designed and built his light weight aluminum water cooled engine for the Wright brothers.
