The only reason for privatizing it is that someone thinks he can make money from it.

SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM DSL, I don't believe it will happen either. For one the union would fight privatization. With that said, I would like to see privatization.

I have been dealing with a shoulder problem for the past year and a half. First I had to wait 3 months to see my primary care doctor. He sent me to therapy which took another 2 months. After 6 weeks in therapy I was told I need to go to an Orthopedic doctor, but first I had to make an appointment with my primary care 2to get a referral, which took 3 months. After my primary care doctor referred me to Orthopedics, I had to wait an additional 2 and a half months. Orthopedics sent me for a CT Scan, now I have to wait until late October to get the results of the CT Scan.

My wife has Choice Insurance through the VA. She can make a call and get a doctors appointment the same day. Illegals can walk into a hospital and receive immediate care. But veterans have to wait years to obtain benefits. Once they receive the benefits the veterans must wait months and months to receive care.

I believe privatization would speed up the appointment and care process.
