There are a lot of cultures around the world that are different from "the west", even some of the western cultures don't agree, take France where horse is considered a meat source. Of course in lots of the world people eat bugs and stuff I don't want to think about this early in the morning.

I thought we were all taught to respect different cultures and their beliefs. Apparently someone didn't get that memo.

they eat it in Korea as well. It is a cultural thing.. and with the right amount of seasoning, it is fantastic..
