Air Force has lost 100,000 inspector general records

Most organizations have a back up plan for Continuity of Operations (COOP), you store your data in at least TWO DIFFERENT Sites so if one crashes (see article) you can still access your data at the back up site. Evidently the Air Force IG IT team forgot to do that. End result? 100,000 lost records. A painful lesson learned, bet that won't happen again. At least not in that office. Semper fi.
