I recall in the summer of '63 when I played "People" on an old Jukebox in Huntington Beach CA and the entire Bar stopped talking and listened to Barbara Streisand's beautiful rendition of that song,

Beauty is as beauty does. Talent alone, even exceptional talent such as Ms Streisand has as a singer, does not make a person beautiful. Now, allow me to offer an alternative example, a truly beautiful person, a gifted dancer and actress, who put her life on the line during WWII serving with the Dutch Resistance while living in the Netherlands.
