I could possibly get behind people on the terror and no-fly lists being prohibited from buying/owning guns.

BUT... under one condition. These lists MUST be made public and the people on the lists given the chance to have their names removed if they feel they are on them unjustly. Also, people on these lists MUST be informed that they are on them and WHY they are on them.

As it stand today it's scarily easy to be placed on the list and extremely difficult to even find out why let alone have your name removed.
