When I was medically retired from the Air Force with epilepsy, I had to go to many places to figure out why I suddenly had a seizure disorder at the age of 52, and what was going to happen to me. No longer fit to work in the Air Force, I found myself unemployed, going through the VA disability process and more medical visits than I care to remember. The place I was able to connect with others with similar medical issues, the ability to track my medications, my seizures, and regain some sembelence of control was through Patients Like Me.
