You also had a photo of a sailor kissing a nurse in NYC on the day the war ended in the Pacific. And for years there were a lot of sailors who said they were the guy...

This is very sad for the Bradley family . They lost their Dad a few years ago and now find out he is not in this famous photo. I can understand why Pfc Schultz didn't want to be named in this photo and can respect his wishes. I had an uncle who served in the Navy during WWII who never discussed his service with his family or friends. All we knew was he served for 3 years and that was it.
