Thank you for the share. It is very true that a bad social media presence will hinder your chances of finding post-military employment. Even worse may be having no social media presence at all.
I am still working on my social media branding as I only ever used it a little bit for military recruiting purposes, but never for my own self-branding.

Those who plan to leave the military within the next two years should start on networking online and getting their LinkedIn, Twitter, and other social media sites actively engaged. Networking is the way you are going to land a career, not filling out applications and sending them into the black abyss of the ATS.
