Another one bites the dust...or at least something else.
What is it about men of a certain age and rank which drives them to show a complete lack of judgment and/or integrity? In almost every case like this the preliminary investigation leading up to the "removal" of a senior officer or NCO is pretty air tight...particularly at this level of responsibility. Don't they know that all eyes are on them and they can not get away with anything? On the flip side, some of the most charismatic and effective leaders I have served with had that "T-Factor" edge that made them the "alpha" of the organization.

LTC Thomas Tennant Unfortunately, nobody is immune to things like this. Most, however, have the morals to do the right thing, while others do not and eventually will have to pay the piper. Such behavior is epidemic in our society, however, it is only the "high profile" ones like this that get the publicity. His actions reflect very poorly on the military and there is simply no excuse for it.
