I completely get what this article is trying to point out. However I don't think it can be used in relation to the election of our nation's president. I get sometimes people like the Don's crazy antics and wild ideals forever promising change with his election. But, at the same time, I feel as if many Americans know how serious they need to take this election. The next president of our country, most likely one of the two primary parties has to show up. Trump is radical, and HRC is untrustworthy. I am not in support of either of them in this candidacy but I have seen a big majority of people who have decided to vote for trump are doing it not because they like what he represents but because he is "the lesser of two evils." Unfortunately this is the next four years of our nation. A time when we had to take "bad" when the only other option was "worse."

Comparing electing Trump to having shows like Naked and Afraid (I’ve never seen it) and Duck Dynasty on the air is nonsense, in addition to being offensive to me personally.

What the article I felt was saying is we, as a nation, don't want a serious politician. We want to be entertained. We want a showman and Donald Trump is only giving those that support him and those that oppose him what they want

On you clarification I must sadly agree, too many of our citizens would rather be amused than seriously look at what our nation is, and what we can realistically do to keep and/or improve our way of life. There’s not enough money right now to pay for everything our elected politicians have promised.

I can’t help it, but this article personally galls me. I could take this article as satire if it were titled “Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton Is Going to be Elected” and laugh; but it’s not. That Trump’s name is in the title gives him the most negative coverage (bad television shows and Kardashians, what did they ever do?, in my neck of the woods mentioning any of them is an insult) the writer’s crave; while in the writer’s mind, Rosenblum believes it covers him because in the small print he pokes at Hillary Clinton.

This is typical of how people on the far left, and right, try to put negative condemnations on their foe’s backs and I just can’t accept it from either side. More people need to stop accepting it and maybe they will stop false attacks and show respect for everyone. We all learned respect is earned, not given; this article doesn’t earn respect from me.
