I am unsure on how I feel about this article. Is it a loss of comfort items from a private company for our troops or is it stopping those same companies from recruiting more customers through there addictive substance? I do chew tobacco have been doing it for a long time even prior to being in the Marine Corps and would have loved to get a log of Cope while deployed. What say you?

Service members are by definition "risk takers". We ride motorcycles, often drink too much and (oh no!) use tobacco... I understand the push to be healthy but there is so much low hanging fruit... I can't believe this is where they draw the line.

When it comes down to it I think it is a personal choice.

So a product that causes cancer raises an eyebrow as it may be a comfort item? Lobbyist in action maybe?

I have never gotten anything when deployed other than what my family support or family sent.
