Are these the same Black Congressional Caucus leaders who swore that Tea Party attendees spat on them until videos were produced proving that no such thing ever happened?

What does that have to do with the fact that Trump was the primary and loudest voice in the birther movement and walked all of what he said back? Also, I find it interesting that you would bring up the non- spitting instance instead of commenting on why Trump did a 180 degree turn on his birther position

SSG Michael Hartsfield - Actually, Hillary was the first and loudest voice in the birther movement. And why would you find my comment "interesting"? The claims that Obama may have not been qualified as a "natural born citizen" are reasonable in that he has kept his records sealed until it suited his purposes to release them. Until then, there was an appearance of fraud on his part. Meanwhile, inasmuch as the Congressional Black Caucus accused Trump of fraud, I find it directly related to expose their own very real and proven attempts at fraud. So tell me, why did you find my comment "interesting"? Are you trying to imply that I'm a racist? Now be careful how you answer because you are totally ignorant of whom you are dealing with...

You are kidding me, right? Why in the Hell would I accuse you of being a racist? You may obfuscate, side-step, and use false comparatives but you aren't a racist, to-with you talking about the non-spitting occurrence instead of talking about why Trump back-pedaled on Obama not being born in the US.
You are being particularly thin-skinned today. Are you ok?

Political scumbag hypocrites are just political scumbag hypocrites. Stupidity doesn't know skin color.
We keep morons in power because they love to scream racism to a constituency that loves to blame everything on racism. But decades later, there is still no change. The ghetto is still the ghetto. The problem with that mentality is that there is never an answer for the complete failures of democratically controlled cities that are more dangerous than foreign battlefields. Change the broken needle on the same old record player. It's been played out. Why the hell do we still need a black caucus? I'm tired of the racial division in this country.

No no. My question is if Republicans saw all of this happened, why didn't they work with the people in those areas IOT get that vote and change that narrative? Or was it just easier to do nothing and lay the blame of these failures at the feet of the Democrats, all the while claiming that they "could have done better?"

Go back and look at all the resolutions that were struck down. Some attempts to change laws never get as far as the voting booth. If you have one party in control of a city's or 70+ years and it is known throughout the world as a ghetto, why won't the constituents abandon the failed policies of the past? But they keep voting for the same people who promise promise promise yet never produce positive results. That is the definition of insanity.
If I walked point and always got ambushed at the same intersection but refused to change my route, why would I expect a different result? So let's try blaming others for always coming under fire. I can get a whole bunch of people's emotions fired up by blaming my skin color, or religion, or the type of weapon I carry, or my political opinion, etc etc etc, yet the next day I get ambushed again. I can spend 75 years sticking to my beliefs about what the problem is, but it will never change the fact that tomorrow I'm going to get lit up again. NOTHING I believe in will stop the fact that I a going to fail in my mission. So year after year the bodies keep stacking up. Eventually, that intersection just gets deemed too dangerous to traverse and it is bypassed. Same goes for these nasty areas. They become an embarrassment for politicians to even discuss. Everyone continues to avoid the problem by blaming all the past failures. But nothing changes. The mission is still a failure.

So instead of working to change that particular intersection, it would be better to isolate it along with everyone else that lives in the vicinity? Because it would be hard to do then it shouldn't be done? I can remember Midtown Charlotte was a veritable s*^thole of a place until the Republicans AND Democrats worked together to change that. Now, Midtown is a vibrant area (in spite of the current political climate).
To use an old Southern colloquialism "Can't never got nothin' done." As a political leader, if you feel it's easier to ignore a problem than to fix it, then you don't get to talk about the failings of another group. Even if what they are or have done isn't successful, at least they can say they tried.
