Obviously, I am female and I still would not vote for Hillary. Gender has nothing to do with who I vote for.

Thanks for your perspective SPC Britanny *Winnie* Balthaser I just don't think there is enough to warrant that charge. I agree if the right candidate came along- I am all in. Her issues are not gender based for me.

Yes. It is still an issue no matter what you personally feel or think. Look how people went after Clinton when she was sick --called her weak, frail, made gross assumptions about her health. Look how much she is made fun of for her clothing. Look how Trump brought up the Lewinsky thing (and the Wiener thing) as a reflection of her judgement. Sexism is alive and well and that isn't a PC response either.

MSgt (Join to see) - It isn't sexist at all. I don't have to be female to see that blatant sexism played and is playing a large roll in Trump's campaign strategy. I think the clip I posted is pretty clear. The fact is that many, many people in the U.S. do not think a woman should be president. These same folks don't think women should serve in combat, and that women shouldn't have control over their own reproductive rights. Largely these beliefs are culturally acquired via traditionally held religious beliefs. Trump is using this institutionalized sexism to influence those voting blocks against Clinton. This is fact, pure and simple regardless of whether you choose to believe it or look the other way.

MSgt Michael Smith - my personal view on abortion is that men shouldn't get a vote on it at all since it doesn't affect them. Women should be allowed in combat if they meet the same exact standards as men. You know what I am really sick of though? I am sick of men and women pushing policies that are "socially progressive" causing companies to be forced to hire women for positions that they are not qualified for. I am sick of incompetent women being put in jobs where they fail because that makes the rest of us look bad! Hire and promote based on merit not gender. I am sick of going into a new plant having to prove myself to be competent because some woman before me was hired for a job she wasn't qualified to do and set the rest of us back 10 years. I am tired of some women going into plants and crying sexual harassment about everything even if its not because again that makes us all look bad. I have spent my ENTIRE civilian career working with mostly men. (75-90%) I have found them to be excellent co workers with only a few exceptions. I am sick of social justice warriors saying they will be the champions of females when most of them are men or die hard femenists who do not speak for me. I am a female engineer. I have been one for over 15 years. Please understand this and I know it will be hard for you as a male but your trying to make it right can also be seen as an insult to my ability as a strog female. I neither want or need your help or any man's help. (I am married but my husband and I are true equals in our relationship) This type of behavior is what really turned me away from the democrat party. (I was a registered democrat from 18-30 yrs old) The preaching that society was against me as a female and that I would not be able to succeed unless I voted for them and their policies to "make it right". Understand this, everything I have in my life I have earned by my own hard work and talents. I try and teach my daughter to be the same way. I want her to reapect herself as a strong woman and understand that her hard work and talent will be what makes her succeed in life.
End rant...
