Its long and it covers the end of WWII from January 1944 on, but it is worth a listen. Contained herein is some of the best and worst of humanity wrapped up in stellar journalism and period propaganda.

The first broadcast on this list is one of my favorites, the reporter is covering the aftermath of a Canadian siege on a German held city,Ortona, and his vivid descriptions never fail to suck me right into the moment. That needs to be made into a movie, cut to credits right as the reporter is walking around in the devistation, and have the whole credit sequence be that recording right there, with his final words echoing as the screen fades to black.
