Here is what "The Atlantic says about Trump and Clinton in making only its third presidential endorsement since 1860.
"Hillary Rodham Clinton has more than earned, through her service to the country as first lady, as a senator from New York, and as secretary of state, the right to be taken seriously as a White House contender. She has flaws (some legitimately troubling, some exaggerated by her opponents), but she is among the most prepared candidates ever to seek the presidency. We are confident that she understands the role of the United States in the world; we have no doubt that she will apply herself assiduously to the problems confronting this country; and she has demonstrated an aptitude for analysis and hard work.
Donald Trump, on the other hand, has no record of public service and no qualifications for public office. His affect is that of an infomercial huckster; he traffics in conspiracy theories and racist invective; he is appallingly sexist; he is erratic, secretive, and xenophobic; he expresses admiration for authoritarian rulers, and evinces authoritarian tendencies himself. He is easily goaded, a poor quality for someone seeking control of America’s nuclear arsenal. He is an enemy of fact-based discourse; he is ignorant of, and indifferent to, the Constitution; he appears not to read."

LTC (Join to see) - MAJ everyone has a right to speak what's on their minds. But they way we speak may show our ignorance about the subject matter. As you can see for yourself I shoot 155's and the old 175's mechanized Guns, and there pretty big ones too. The point I'm trying to convey is that to each his or her own. I was homophobic until I went to law school. I believed in God until I learned about the holocaust. I was against immigration reform until I learned how dysfunctional our system is.
Some opinions change with age and maturity. I used to hate asparagus, now it is my favorite vegetable. Some opinions change with education or experience. Some change with more information.
So no, we do not stand by our decision, no matter what. I decided in 1980 that I'd like to be a Republican, and on my 18th birthday registered as one. I abandoned and changed that decision in 1992.

Sir, I hope you know that I am not saying that I agree with that idiot, I don't. You President Obama was born and raised in the same Islands as I but as someone born before Hawaii became a State. I don't like any politicians period. You know at one time in my life I had the honor of meeting with Senators and Congressman. But those days are gone. One is still in jail the other is gone. One had been awarded the Navy Cross, the other the Medal of Honor. I will respect others who will respect the same way towards humanity. We have a complete failure to communicate to our society and to our politicians. The best we can hope for is when something happens for the betterment of our Nation and our planet.
I still have the warrior instinct and always will.

Again, I wholeheartedly agree. This is NOT an election of choice between equal representatives of merely different ideologies, but a shocking and glaring choice between a candidate (Clinton) and an unmitigated disaster (Trump).

Bush, or, for that matter, any of the leading candidates Trump vanquished in the Republican primaries, we would not have contemplated making this endorsement. But Trump is not a man of ideas. He is a demagogue, a xenophobe, a sexist, a know-nothing, and a liar. He is spectacularly unfit for office, and voters—the statesmen and thinkers of the ballot box—should act in defense of American democracy and elect his opponent."

Marie Mainardi - They should be. If I’m required to pay my Federal and State Taxes and the Government knows how I support my family and myself I think that every political party and their leaders should do the same.
