You're right, it's not a coincidence. Despite being black, accomplished, and influential, his vote was detrimental to black people as a whole. Quite frankly, they're not obligated to honor a black man who looked down on black people.

I do think that his significant background, success and eventual Supreme Court nomination deserve a place regardless of the politics. This museum should tell the whole truth. This is how history becomes skewed. Sorry to see.
