We should be exhorting people to not kill, period. It is no better or worse due to race, color, national origin, sex etc is. It is a tragedy when anyone is murdered. You make it sound as though they should not have killed her because she was a "sister" (black). She was a human being that did not deserve to be killed, period.

Cpl Jeff N. - I didn't make it sound like anything. Read my post. Like I said, " Yes, BLACK LIVES MATTER! Stop killing your brothers and sisters.

Let me break this smaller for you to digest. I stand in solidarity with BLM. That's no secret here on RP. How can I not be upset when my own kill one another, but silent when I KNOW there's a problem within my own community? I can not be hypocritical about the issue at hand. My community MUST work together. The first murder was when Cain killed Abel... his brother! My people must realize and change the situation in our community. STOP KILLING YOUR BROTHERS AND SISTER.

Not to take away from this thread, but I must ask Why was she out in that parking lot at 0400? Whatever the reason, there is absolutely NO REASON this should have happened to anyone's daughter and it occurs on daily basis in all our big cities, not just blacks either. I don't what we can do to get a handle on this, sending these jerks to jail is not going to stop this. Gangs are the DEVIL INCARNATE! So many lives shattered for what? So some punk can play big man and spray bullets?

I had the same question, but then decided that it didn't matter (my daughter wouldn't be out at 4 in the morning). I then wanted to know why this father and son decided to have a shoot out.

That is wring. It need to end. There is a culture of violence that pervades levels of society. What are the he issues? Drugs, poverty, culture, lack of hope and purpose. The same thing military lose when they transition to veterans. But we have a 90% support system. They gave nothing. Gangs rule. How do we help?

You are absolutely correct Col Rebecca Lorraine . How do we help? It starts from helping within. It's up to the ones killing to want to make a change. IDK I'm tired of it...ALL of it.

I'm sure it is something that needs to be fixed within each person, they have got to want to conform to the needs of the larger society. It is so disheartening. SSG Trust Palmer -
