This article has been rehashed bunches of times by various webazines, and it's always fun to read. Die Glocke and "The Henge" have held a particular fascination for me because I've always loved reading about the Nazi Wunderwaffen. One possible explanation for The Henge is that it is the support structure for a large water tank. There is evidence to support this as there are similar structures located in the area which were known to be water tanks, but then that would take all the fun out of it.
