"On December 28, 1936, born on this day, American singer Young Jessie who was a member of The Coasters. In 1955 he wrote and recorded the single 'Mary Lou,' later covered by Ronnie Hawkins, Steve Miller Band, Bob Seger, Gene Clark and Frank Zappa."
