I was thinking, could this be a renegade Iranian diesel electric sub Captain that doesn't want peace between the US and the Iranian regime? Noticed that the Prime Minister of Japan is visiting and brokering a peace deal right now. Could this be a coincidence? Conspiracy theories!

LTC (Join to see) Good for you. I like my GMC Sierra just fine. Its V8/V4 fuel efficiency system is pretty decent. I’ll get 18-20 mpg in city and up to 24 mpg on the hwy. My in-laws have two hybrid Prius cars and they love them. Cost efficient for retirees on a budget according to my father in law. Everyone has their preference. Just cause I support initiatives in the Green New Deal doesn’t mean I’m saying get rid of big trucks. I’m saying engineers are looking at concepts making automotive technology more efficient and environmentally friendly within reason. We should encourage that. Fossil fuels combustion isn’t going to expand our space domain technology. A combination of fission energy and renewable energy like solar are gonna play key roles. From fire to steam to oil to coal to petrol to natural gas to nuclear to hydro to solar to wind...etc. We don’t stop innovating because a few are profiting in the billions in one energy market. That’s all I’m saying. Thanks.

"Who Killed The Electric Car" Cut to 6 mins By: Steve Todey
During the BAIL OUT I cut the movie "Who Killed The Electric Car" to 6 mins to share it with friends and family who might not take the time to watch the whol...
MAJ James Woods what really gets me mad as we could have done this 15 years ago. In the movie Who Killed the Electric Car, a regulation change in California made Saturn AKA General Motors recall all the lease vehicles and Crush all of them except for three that are non running examples in the Petersen Museum or elsewhere. They could have kept the vehicles and we could have had electric cars by the millions by now.

LTC (Join to see) Yep they could’ve. Then again we are talking about Saturn that failed in general. The Electric car was expensive but so was the first Apple, iPhone, PlayStation, Hybrid car, etc. Then there’s the fossil fuel lobbyists and big oil donors to corporate sponsored politicians (Dem and GOP). If only greed didn’t squash over a decade of innovation and continues to do so.

Red Car - The Life and Death of Public Transit in Los Angeles

MAJ James Woods I remember walking by an EV1 in the showroom at a dealership in Whittier, CA. Little did I know they would go like the red cars of Southern California.

Not trying to be a smart ass, but shouldn’t Oman and Arab Emirates defending their ships and rigs? Shortage of oil isn’t a priority in the USA.

This would be a world supply/price issue. Even if we are not directly affected, we are indirectly as rising prices damage worldwide economies. This is a smart way for Iran to hurt us, and effective, and has the potential to keep a conflict limited.

CPT Gregory Hafera I was a mercenary for 21 years? Now that is really irritating, I thought they made a whole lot more money than I did.

CPT Gregory Hafera Sounds like semantics. Funny you would debate this when my position is we shouldn’t be fighting for them We both took an oath when we enlisted, it is very plain. No matter our opinions, we obey lawful orders or suffer the consequences.
