Unfathomable amount of taxpayer money spent to protect “The Hill” as a result of this event. The same amount, spread around the country, would go a long way to protect the occupants of our schools. There’s a thought.

SCPO (Join to see) Thanks for the share. Lt Col Charlie Brown Is right on that one. We are doing more in the area of physical security to protect members of Congress than our Children. While the cost per school wouldn't be cheap, I don't see it breaking anyone's bank, above and beyond enforcement of Laws already on the books.
